ABOUT THE AUTHOR & BOOK:
Since 1995, Leonard Carter has devoted himself to studying the Tabernacle, the place where God's presence dwelled among the Israelites during their time in the wilderness. Carter's in-depth study of Scripture as well as the writing of Old Testament scholars (particularly the work of R.H. Mount, Jr.), coupled with his heartfelt desire to bring Christian believers to a deeper understanding of Jesus as revealed in the Tabernacle, led him to write this book. 

Author, Leonard Carter, approached me about creating some illustrations for his book, A Journey to CHRIST Through the Tabernacle, and I jumped at the opportunity! The uniqueness of these illustrations presented were the opportunity to study pieces of scripture, and from these descriptions, create illustrations to represent the item or ideas that Leonard was discussing within his book.  And after studying, breaking down and identifying characteristics of what was to be drawn, I was shocked by the staggering misrepresentation of items available online when doing research. 

​Throughout the process, Leonard and I spoke regularly to create the perfect representations for each illustration (see slideshow below). 

Along with some illustrations within the book, I was able to design the book cover including the illustration on the cover. Another post to come about the process of designing the cover!
